The demo site (https://demo.reactvideoeditor.com/) is already running this exact branch. While I’m holding off on merging and officially announcing Version 8 for now, many teams are already using this branch as their foundation.
It’s been thoroughly tested, but I’m keeping the window open for a bit longer to allow for additional feedback and final reviews before making it public.

Hey @Sam Bowen-Hughes, I see that you are working on many things right now. Can you give us any timeframe for when version 8 can be expected?

@Sam Bowen-Hughes : Without an npm package solution, we can’t use this editor. Could you please provide the exact timeline for the release of V8, or at least a guideline on how to use it in an existing project without affecting CSS and other components?

A lot has been happening with RVE lately, and I realize I haven’t shared updates as clearly as I could, so here’s a quick one.
The pull request for Version 8 is now live: https://github.com/reactvideoeditor/react-video-editor-pro/pull/134
