Great work, just bought and had a first look at it. Really impressive!

V6 says I can upload own videos and images, how can I do that?

And how can I extend functionality, for example add additional features for audio clips, and keep it as a “plugin” so that for tuture versions of RVE I can reuse my code?

    I've just added a local implementation of this to WIP-version-7. I'm actively working on it, so things might change. Just to clarify, this is a local approach. Personally, I find it a bit confusing to include it in the main RVE codebase for now, since deploying it would require additional considerations. That said, I wanted to provide a working version to give people an idea of how it could work. If deployed to a live environment, it would ultimately be up to the user to implement a proper storage layer for media uploads.
